Welcome to Creative Non-Fiction with Jenny!  

This blog will be a weekly part of our classroom discussions and learning.  You will be assigned a controversial, thought-provoking piece of non-fiction reading each week.  Along with the reading, you will be given 1-3 questions to consider when responding to the reading.  
You will be graded on the following scale:

X = No blog post or comment
I  =  An insufficient blogpost and/or comment
A = An original blogpost and comment, which both have room for improvement
M = A substantial blogpost and comment on someone else's comment
E = An exceptional blogpost and/or comment
H = An exceptional blogpost AND comment

When can I expect the article to be posted?  
By Monday at 5:00 pm  (Often earlier than that!)

When should I have responded to the article and my classmates?
By the start of class on Friday.

When will discussions take place?
Fridays at the start of class.
